The Bayou is a gorgeous space, but with its open-air constructs, it can get pretty noisy if there’s a lot going on, or if people start lining up for the evening show. And even though we loved Hyperspace Lounge, it can get pretty loud in there! Currents, which is a bar that can be found on all of the Disney Ships, looks directly over the Toy Story Splash Area which we found to be an odd choice. During our four-night cruise, we had two days at the port with the opportunity to disembark if we wished, and one full day at sea. Before sailing, we had planned to disembark in both Nassau in the Bahamas and Disney’s Castaway Cay.

We flew into Orlando on a pretty good flight deal from our hometown, New Orleans. We initially were going to rent a car so we could explore Orlando and park at Port Canaveral. There is the option to either park at the Port Canaveral cruise terminal for $17 per day or use off-site parking options for about half the price. Exiting our stateroom, we were able to score an empty elevator down to the Grand Hall without any issues. It then took about 30 minutes to go from scanning off the ship, through CBP, and loaded onto a bus. Not to mention, there are cabanas available to rent, plenty of bars to quench your thirst, shops, and two BBQ lunch spots.
